“Echoes of the Forgotten World” is an upbeat melodious composition for solo guitar.
At times when the world is rapidly changing and normal life structures collapse it’s not uncommon to direct our gaze to the past in attempt to rethink the present and contemplate the future.
This piece was envisioned as a soundtrack for a fantasy story imagined in time of such contemplation.
Imagine finding ruins of a very ancient but very advanced civilization, what kind of story could it tell? What if the reason for its rise was what ultimately led it to its downfall? Is it possible to build a utopia? But why, having all the means to build the perfect world would we use these means to build a dystopia?
Inspiration for this piece comes from thoughts about humanity, civilization and various developments in the world in recent years. But most importantly, I hope you could simply enjoy the music, whichever thoughts it would spark inside you.
